How to setup refresh rate in DXGI_SWAP_CHAIN_DESC1 RRS feed

  • There is BufferDesc.RefreshRate in DXGI_SWAP_CHAIN_DESC but nothing similar in  DXGI_SWAP_CHAIN_DESC1... :S

    As I need to measure some draw calls efficiency and the best way to see it in practice is to monitor the refresh rate, is it a way to set refresh rate in DXGI_SWAP_CHAIN_DESC1 to be not tied to vsynch ?

    (I basically use at the moment XAML+ D3D + D2D/DirectWrite through SwapChainBackgroundPanel)

  • Windows Store apps Presentation is always locked to VSYNC, so you won't get faster than 60 fps.

    Try other way, like QueryPerformanceCounter .
