MSDN project deployment error?? anyone can help? RRS feed

  • I am try to run MSDN code in my VAIO Laptop, Vista OS using Windows Mobile 6 and Visual studio 2008. I can build the project but can't debug/ deploy it. It says the following Error: Unable no start program %CSIDL_PROGRAMA_FILES%\tut01_createdevice\ tut01_createdevice.exe The system can't find the file specified. Can anybody help me with this problem?? shuvra

  • Hi Shuvra,

    What I guess is , you need to install SDKCerts.CAB file on your device.

    Please refer the thread below for further instructions & try to install SDKCerts.CAB file.

    Thanks. Actually I am trying to deploy it in emulator first. Still i am not connected with device.

    To deploy it to the emulator, it generates that error. Can you help me with that.

  • Does your project rely on and SDKs or toolkits in addition to the Windows Mobile SDK?  That same error message can be the result of a missing DLL.

  • Hi shuvra,

    Can you connect the emulator via Emulator Manager tool and cradle it? If so, maybe the installation is corrupt, try to remove the WM SDK and install it again.

  • Hi Guang,
    I can connect the emulator via Emulator manager. so I uninstall WM 6.0 SDK and install it again... again I am getting the same error...

    what will be the solution?
