User input to set time and days for recurring event. RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am creating a simple program on windows visual basic 2015 with windows form application and I am wondering how I would use a simple user input in a text box to set a time and recurring weekly days for an event to happen. E.g. shutdown pc at 11pm on weekdays. I am currently new to C#. Thanks in advance.

  • Hello,

Do you mean Visual Studio rather than Visual Basic?

I would not call it simple.

Perhaps using Task Scheduler via C#.

  • Thanks but which files do I need to use?

It depends on how much you want to use, on the page I provided there are two links for NuGet packages.
