Mailmerge for Outlook RRS feed

  • I have created several automated Word mailmerge templates that point to an Access database. Users simply open the template, click a key combination, answer a prompt for customer ID and the letter is populated with the results of a query to the database. Done.

    I need something similar for Outlook emails. I 'kinda' know how it works, but I just need some general help on how to get started. They way I see it, the user enters the customer id, email address and subject and the email is generated, template in the body of the email is populated with query results and email is sent.

    Please point me in the general direction.
