  • You are asking many basic questions about sql server. A forum such as this is not a good way to learn how to write tsql code or how to design databases. It is concerning that your organization has given you tasks that you do not have the skills to accomplish - but that is your concern.

At the very least, answers for your question require knowledge of the database schema. If you cannot supply that, then you should get help from within your organization. People already familiar with your systems will be better able to provide guidance. The best route to create a view is to write a create view statement. The documentation has examples - that should get you started.

You need to create a view vCustomersOrders. Well that's good but you need to provide some info such as table definitions, narrative description what is the expected result etc. We don't have access to your server therefore you need to provide enough information (such as DDL, joining columns etc) so that a answer can be provided. Good luck.

  • As mentioned din your name, you are a 'B-Ginner' so, you should read more about views from editorial sites. As Scott suggested, you can get help within you organisation.

    Good Luck!
