  • Hi Shraddhesh Dongare,

    Thank you for posting here.

For you question, do you mean you want to update on your server side, and then all clients update.

If yes, how do you deploy the app on clients? Using ClickOnce or Windows Installer?

    Best Regards,

    Wendy

  • I deploy seperately server and client.

Use windows installer to create installer.

  • Hi Shraddhesh Dongare,

I suggest to use ClickOnce instead of Windows installer.

With Microsoft Windows Installer deployment, whenever an application is updated, the user can install an update, an msp file, and apply it to the installed product; with ClickOnce deployment, you can provide updates automatically. Only those parts of the application that have changed are downloaded, and then the full, updated application is reinstalled from a new side-by-side folder.

For more details, please refer to the MSDN document.
