write h264 video and aac audio to an avi container RRS feed

  • Question

  • i have coded video and audio in h264 and aac formats respectively and i m trying to write them in avi container. I have read the specifications in http://www.alexander-noe.com/video/documentation/avi.pdf . As written in the pdf, each video frame takes one chunk and the number of chunks for an audio stream depends on its format and packing(aac page no 22).

The problem is i m not able to understand how to write video data and audio data in chunks in the 'movi' LIST. Would the no of chunks for video will be equal to the no of frames(similarly for audio).

Also what would i have to do for synchronizing audio and video

By the way, your question has nothing to do with Windows security APIs. I suggest you to search the Windows SDK forums for existing discussions.
