  • Question

  • Sorry that this is probably the wrong forum... I can't find a forum for Windows Server questions...

I have a directory that I want to limit access to our Senior Leaders Team (SLT security group) If I create a folder and view permissions it automatically assigns the domain 'users' group. If I add the SLT group then they can access the folders contents correctly, but so can other domain users. If I remove the 'users' group then no one can access.

How do I remove 'everyone' but allow the SLT group full control?

This is not a normal behavior. I suspect you have some kind of group policies or something else causing this behavior in your environment. You should check with AD admins and InfoSec guys on this.

    Thanks
