  • I'm receiving bug check 0x7c with argument values not matching the documentation

    BUGCODE_NDIS_DRIVER (7c)
This is the NDIS Driver Bugcheck for Windows Server 2003 and later.
For Windows 2000 and Windows XP, see 0xD2, BUGCODE_ID_DRIVER.
    Arguments:
    Arg1: 0000000000000021, NDIS BugCheck Code
    Arg2: ffffe00077817b70
    Arg3: ffffe0007b37e010
    Arg4: 0000000000000000

I can't find documentation that contains info for arg1= 0x21

  • NDIS_BUGCHECK_INVALID_OBJECT_HEADER (0x21) is a new Win10 NDIS bugcheck subcode. For NDIS 6.5 and later drivers, it means that NdisAllocateCloneOidRequest was passed a PNDIS_OID_REQUEST with an invalid OID revision value (must be revision 1 or 2); either the size or revision values are incorrect.
