  • This is this robot lit by 1 red spotlight, 1 blue spotlight, 1 white spotlight, as well as a main light.

    LD3DView.AddDirectionalLight and LD3DView.AddspotLight allows us to recreate an ambient lighting to our liking, as in a photography studio.

    My fault sorry - when these threads by Tryhest get over long I split them and mark the old one as blocked.  This is to encourage (force) us to add to the new thead rather than folk just adding to the old one.  A side effect is that we cannot mark helpful on the old threads.

    Best to mark the many exceptional works by Tryhest as they are added before it gets around 100 posts (many with images) which become slow to load and end up being split.

  • Here's a challenge - how about a 3D Rubic's cube that can be manipulated like the real thing.  Perhaps using LD3DView.SetCentre and LD3DView.AnimateRotation with appropriate key or mouse entry from a user.

  • Re Rebick's Cube.

    I had a quick play to see what issues there may be, SNP696.

    It will be tricky doing mutiple rotations in different directions - probably requiring recreating the cube after each rotation animation - I may add a method to help with this bit.

    The first issue will be how to define the current state of the cube effectively - certainly a tricky challenge - if we continue with this best restart on a new post to not hijack this one.

  • The Mad Garden game: CRG813

    • click on green dot fast to grow plant, every click adds 5 sec. to plant life and also grows a plant
    • when plant grows double, it makes red flower, every flower adds 30 sec to plant life, also add a new plant
    • when total growth is bigger than 15 u gain new plants every 2 growth unit, displayed on title bar with g: prefix
    • every plant has a limited life, then it wanishes and pops up a new plant
    • the game goal is to have a nice garden with many flowers))
