Requests/sec performance counter just increases, >500k and counting RRS feed

On our server we have some CLR 2.0 and 4.0 sites. The ASP.NET Apps v2.0.50727\Requests/Sec counter is correctly showing around 1 request a second. Our more popular sites are on 4.0 but the ASP.NET Apps v4.0.30319\Requests/Sec counter is just counting up, its a running total.

Its the same on each server in the farm. We thus have no idea about the traffic to our main product.

Is this a known bug? What's the workaround?

    We're running Windows Server 2008 R2

    Hi,

the ASP.NET Apps v4.0.30319\Requests/Sec counter is just counting up, its a running total.

Thanks for your feedback about this issue,

We recieved a similar feedback about this issue that it  behaves  total requests and total requests executing in Windows Server 2008 R2,

and this issue is being tracked internally and will be fixed in a future update,

At the same time you can also try the workaround in the link above, and check whether it is helpful to you,

    With regards
