  • I'm not aware of a tool that can perform this magic. Although I have successfully done this manually with a simple PostgreSQL database simply by changing the CREATE table DDL for SQL Server data types and copying data with SSIS, I didn't have to convert programmability objects (e.g. converting existing PostgreSQL functions to SQL Server stored procedures). In my case, I created new stored procedures and changed to app from embedded SQL to call procs instead.

There are significant differences and proprietary/non-ISO standard SQL features in the DBMS platforms so I expect you'll need to convert programmability objects manually and re-implement as needed depending on the features used. Of course, testing is required to ensure compatibility before/after the migration.
