  • Hi,

The first step you have to take here is to generate(from Add Generated Items->Add Adapter Wizard) the schema based on the EDI file. Then you can create a receive pipeline with a Flat file disassembler and assign the document schema as the generated one. After this configure the receive and send ports. In send port we can give the default XMLpipeline.Hope this will do.

    Thanks,

  • Hi,

Go to BizTalk Admin Console and configure a port with EDI adapter.

Open  Visual Studio and create an Empty BizTalk Server Project. Right click on the project and choose option."Add Generated Items". A new window will be open and now select Add Adapter wizard and follow the steps to generate the EDI schema.Deploy the solution by giving the assembly key file and application name.

Then add a new receive pipeline item in the project.Drag Flat File disassembler to the disassemble stage and in the properties set the value of document schema to the EDI schema generated.

Now in the BizTalk administration console ,configure the send and receive ports. In recv port add a recv location and the pipeline to be given is the receive pipeline created In the send port you can give the default XML pipeline.Start the application and check the file in the output location.

    Thanks,

  • I moved your thread to the EDI forum.

You can leverage the new EDI subsystem of the BizTalk 2006 R2 (it is not a Base EDI adapter). It has all EDIFACT schemas ready to use.
