limiting gridsplitter (Rachel) - 9/27/2007 4:40 PM PST RRS feed

I want to limit how far a gridsplitter will widen.

For example, let's say I have 3 rows. Let's say that each row is initially
set to be 100 pixels high.

The grid splitter is between rows 2 and 3.

Let's say I want the gridsplitter to resize so that row 2 has a minimum size
of 50 pixels high and a maximum of 150 pixels high.

How do I limit it to that?

Much thanks for any help on this!

    Hi Rachel,

In Blend, you can select and specify properties for grid rows. Here is how
    to do that:
    - make sure that your grid is the active element (has the yellow
selection) - for that, double click on it (in the timeline)
    - make sure that the Grid is in Grid Layout mode using the small button in
the top left corner of the grid; click on it if not
    - now you can select individual grid rows (by clicking on area on the left
side of the lock icons) and set the MinHeight and MaxHeight property in the
    property inspector

    Thanks,
