    Hi,

    webcrab

I don't think that you need to install sql server enterprise edition 2008 in your development computer...

but if yes then you should check that your pc meet the essential hardware and software to install sql server enterprise edition 2008.. check here..

    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms143506.aspx

if your system matches with requirement then can try else if you have normal development pc with windows xp spII or III and VS 2008 then can install MS SQL Server Express 2008 SP I . which can fulfill your requirement (I think so) if yes then can download it from here.

    http://www.microsoft.com/express/sql/download/

first download Microsoft Web Platform Installer in this sql server 2008 with sp1 given..

but before this you need to upgrade your VS 2008 with service pack 1

Hope this information works for you..

    Thanks..

Why do you think you need to install SQL 2008?  Other than the fact that your hosting company isn't that bright, of course.
