Search scope--Excluding Check in Comments From the SharePoint 2010 Search results

Hi all,

I have a library and i want to create a search scope on that library Excluding Check in Comments From the SharePoint 2010 Search results. How can i achieve this?

Please guide me.

Hi Sam,

The search scopes are used for excluding items which meets the conditions from search results.

To exclude the Check In Comments column from search results, I recommend to set the NoCrawl to True for the Check In Comments column programmatically or using SharePoint Manager.

What do I do if we are using SharePoint 2013 because I cannot find this setting?
