Unfortunately, EXCEL 2016 does not support Bidirectional Cross Filtering currently. Bidirectional cross-filtering is a new feature for SQL Server 2016 Analysis Services and Power BI Desktop that allows modelers to determine how they want filters to flow for data using relationships between tables. For more information, please refer to Whitepaper: Bidirectional Cross Filtering.

  • Unclear what you are trying to achieve.

What does your input look like?

Are you talking about table relationships?

    Which tables and which fields?

  • Hello Jerry, thanks for reply, yes Im talking about relationships. Im using excel(no powerbi) with add-in power pivot, in manage -> diagram view . thanks. This option(BOTH direction) is native in Powerbi, but , in my case, I prefer excel. thanks.
