FAQ on Main Window doesn't work. RRS feed

  • Question

  • If you go into smallbasic.com at the top there is an FAQ link. Click on this link and then you should see a list of questions. I should be able to click on the questions which should take you into the detail of the particular question. Doesn't appear that this works anymore. I tried it with Edge and Internet Explorer.

  • The s is in https is for secure communication. It makes communication through TLS (transport layer security). So with it being there the communication is encrypted and secure. So, for some reason it doesn't allow the link to work properly.

  • Google Chrome blocks the content of FAQ.
IE 11 wants a confirmation to "Show complete content?" and then display the text.

  • Hi jricestk,

If you go directly to the website, it works

    http://smallbasic-publicwebsite-dev.azurewebsites.net/Pages/Faq.aspx

If it is redirected via smallbasic.com, it will not work

    https://smallbasic-publicwebsite.azurewebsites.net/Pages/Faq.aspx

    it is another website

  • backtothestart,

I agree that it is on another website. If you copy the FAQ link and paste it to a url you will see that it doesn't work. I find that is I get rid of s in https:// that it will work. So, whoever takes care of that page needs to fix the link. I didn't really need to read the FAQs, but when I clicked on the link I thought this should work. My intention was to make someone aware of the issue.

    Thanks,

    JR

  • Can someone explain who puts that s in https:?

Is it the browser or the redirect of smallbasic.com?

Is the non-displayed text in FAQ the only restriction?

    Thank you in advance.

  • I don't know your browser, but probably it's: HTTPS Everywhere
