I posted this on the UI forum, but i'll post it here too:
I'm currently using windows server 2003 with visual studio 2005 installed on it. When I hit debug--> attach and then go through my process list, the w3wp.exe processes on my machine (web processes) are greyed out and I can't attach to them. I'm not sure what causes this behavior. I recently joined the computer to a domain, but it did happen once before that and seemed to go away on its own. What causes a process to be greyed out?
