need some SIP Voip server processing RRS feed

  • Question

  • Endgoal: have SIP endpoint actually in role of server, but prob can be softphone. This SIP should register in pbx and process calls: answer calls, make some TTS, hear user input, do STT, call NLP (using luis for now), pref do all audio processings in streams for performance, and then do call forward to another sip (external on internal). Should be in c#

After investigating i failed to found good solutions for NetCore - only i found is and it seems a bit lowlevel lib, i cant found way of doing stream audio processing, docs and support are also poor.

I also found ozeki and managed to create good mvp that answering call, doing TTS using google, calling luis, doing STT again using google. But code is also not very good, latest version is for Net 4.5, no async support, no support for NetCore (and not planned)

So questions i have: 1) is there really not more tools for my tasks, pref in NetCore
    2) if not - what is the best way to host ozeki solution in azure and what type of project should i use?
I guess project hosted as web app will not allow me to do sip registration cos of limitations?
Host console app as webjob is also not an option from 50mb limitation.
Azure functions also not an option
VM could be an option but seems like a bit of overhead
Is this arhitecture good overall for this task?
