Framerate is strange from EnableFrameRateCounter RRS feed

  • I am confused about the FPS counter that appears when I set enableFrameRateCounter to true.  I have 1 rectangle on the screen and it says 1.6/60.  I added a character and moved him around and I could push it up to 600/60.  Does it not calculate when it has nothing to redraw?  This makes it difficult to use the FPS counter for performance debugging.

  • I've seen some really strange behavior from the frame rate counter and I agree it sometimes doesn't seem to report accurate info.
