Cannot run or view the XAML in design View RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, accidentally make a global change the Project_name for Namespace. Say project name from MyApp to MyAppdemo

    I have LayoutAwarePage.cs in Common Folder.

    Now, The errors show in all XAML pages:

    1) error here:

    The name "LayoutAwarePage" does not exist in the namespace "using:Project_name.Common".
    <commom: LayoutAwarePage>

    2) error here : The member "Resources" is not recognized or is not accessible
    <Page.Resources>

    What is the solution to restore back ?

    Thanks

  • Control-Z? Clean and rebuild? It sounds like you just need to ensure that the namespaces are correct.

    NOTE: If I ask for code, please provide something that I can drop directly into a project and run (including XAML), or an actual application project. I'm trying to help a lot of people, so I don't have time to figure out weird snippets with undefined objects and unknown namespaces.

  • Tried all these but not working. Now, all namespaces are correct but still have this msg:

    Design View cannot display because some elements are not built. Please build.

    Build many times. still the same msg.

    Read somewhere, suggested to delete .suo file. What I this?

    Does it work to delete this or other file?

  • Post the XAML code for #2, or even better, post the entire project somewhere.
