can you get access to main service class members ? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello everyone,

I think my problem is more of a programming problem so I wasn't sure where to post it.

The tool that creates a service, DssNewService.exe creates a class inside the project with the name you specify.
For debugging purposes I added a dot net dialog on which I want to plot some of the data stored in one of the members of this main class. I don't want to make this member static, because I would complicate things.
On other projects I worked around this by getting the handler from the main class to MyDotNetFormDialogClass::ActiveForm and then finding the surface on which I draw. This has some inconveniences like I can only get it when the form has focus.

My question is: can i access the members in the main service class ? Maybe by getting the handler to the instance of that... service, somehow?

I think I haven't left any explanations out.
Hope you can help, thank you,
    Dan
