  • Why not try advanced search or a keyword query? That should eliminate the noise.

  • I would realy thank you for your reply!

I want to remove these data (help data or meta data am not sure) from the indexed content, I cannot get you how can i use the advanced search to exclude that??? I am developing an internet site so advanced search is not an option. I dont know how will keywords help me in excluding this data from the search content.

  • Hi,

To remove the search result, you could add Exclude crawl rules to achieve your goal.

See Manage crawl rules (Office SharePoint Server) (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc262934.aspx) for detailed steps.

  • Hi Jamil,

Have you ever looked at the rights of the crawl account? I think you have got a wrong crawl account setup with to much rights. The crawl account should only have read rights.
