  • Hello Gnanadesigan,

What's the result you want to get and What's the result you currently get? Could you mind share two screenshots to let us know the current state?

If you mean that the Numbering is not in arabic, I think you need change the OItemInd to 1 or 2. which will make the number in arabic number.

For sharing the screen shots, you could try to share them via cloud storage, such as One Drive, and then put link address here.

    Thanks for understanding,

    Best Regards,

    Terry

  • Dear Terry,

    Thanks for your support.

    • we are using the oItemInd=5 as per the old server configuration, Then the output is in link https://1drv.ms/f/s!AkXwal3x5UtXZ9l7-BVTwJqfGLc  --- Incorrect
    • when we use the oItemInd=1, Then the output is in link https://1drv.ms/u/s!AkXwal3x5UtXannDjzN405KpNQU  --- Incorrect

Correct Version, Which we used in our 2003 Server, oItemInd=5, We need to create the word document with Bullets and Numbering in Arabic in new server as the per below image link.

https://1drv.ms/u/s!AkXwal3x5UtXayQ1KNX4ibN2rZM -- correct (old Server file)

Kindly provide your solution for the same.

    Thanks,

    Gnanadesigan K

  • Hello Gnanadesigan,

What's the language of your 2003 server and the office installed in the server? Are them the same as the language for your current operation system and current office?

    Best Regards,

    Terry

  • Dear Terry,

In our old Server is Windows 2003 , MS Word 2003 installed in that server,  Regional and Language Option is "Arabic" in both new and Old server.  Text Services and Input language as "English-US" in both new and old Server.

In New Server, MS Word 2010 Installed.

    Thanks,

  • Hi Gnandesigan,

To check whether the List Templates for Arabic in Word, I suggest you output the all the ListTemplates, and see whether you have arabic.

If you manually insert the Bullets and Numbering in Arabic in new server, will it show correctly?

I suggest you try to insert it manually, and then record the steps to check the VBA code and find the oItemInd.
