autocomplete doesnot get fired

using autocomplete  with  <ajaxToolkit:AutoCompleteExtender  but nothing happens .
the textbox has autopostback=false
on debugging autocomplete.vb page nothing happens

For this issue, I suppose the reason is that you doesn't add the AjaxControlToolkit.dll as a reference to your application. I suggest you download the AJAX Control Toolkit from this site. And reinstall the Ajax control Toolkit.
