  • Question

  • I have created 2 custom links in the settings pane.

     <divid="Div1"style="visibility: hidden; background-color: green"data-win-control="WinJS.UI.SettingsPane"data-win-options="{width:'narrow',label:'Div1'}">

    <objectid="myFrame"data="/html/fragment.html"/>

    </div>

    <divid="Div2"style="visibility: hidden; background-color: green"data-win-control="WinJS.UI.SettingsPane"data-win-options="{width:'narrow',label:'Div2'}">

    <objectid="Iframe1"data="/html/fragment1.html"/>

    </div>

    On the settings pane, When i click on "Div1", the new page opens there, but when the "Div2", it does not open.

    Am i doing something wrong here? Please help

  • Looks fine to me!

    there must be something different with the frame or fragments:

    <objectid="myFrame"data="/html/fragment.html"/>
    <objectid="Iframe1"data="/html/fragment1.html"/>

  • Frament.html is just a plain HTML (and not fragment html) file with the following html code

    <div>

    <p> Hello </p>

    <div>.

    Also, i tried creating custom links in the Settings Pane following the link http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/Hh780611.aspx.

    WinJS.Application.onsettings = function (e) {
            e.detail.applicationcommands = {
                "defaultsDiv": { href: "DefaultsUI.html", title: "Defaults"},
                "helpDiv": { href: "HelpUI.html", title: "Help"}
            };
            WinJS.UI.SettingsFlyout.populateSettings(e);
        }

    With this i had two issues.

    1. The options did not appear in the settings pane.

    2. onSettings command handler never got fired. (while opening the settings pane)

    Please suggest?
