WCF-SQL adapter PolledDatavailableStatement ignored RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have a receive location configured to poll a SQL Server database stored procedure. I have also configured the PolledDataavailableStatement but this is never executed. Even if I fill in a non-existing stored procedure no error is generated, if I do the same with the PollingStatement I get an error saying that the stored procedure does not exist.

The InboundPollingType is set to XmlPolling. Changing it to Polling or TypedPolling does not change the situation.

    PollWhileDataFound is set to False.

The PolledDataavailaleStatement performs a count and returns this result. When I execute the stored procedure from within SQL Server I get the correct result.

The behavior occurs on both my development and test machines.

When data is available the adapter works as expected.

    Any help is appreciated.

  • Found the source of the problem: UseAmbientTransaction = true solves it
