Position Macro Does Not do anything in Excel 2016 for Mac RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have run the Macro below successfully for years using Excel 2011 for Mac.  While running it in Excel 2016 for Mac, the sizing portion works fine  However, the positioning portion make no change to the position of the windows on my desktop.

    With ActiveWindow
     .WindowState = xlNormal
     .Top = Application.UsableHeight * TopVal
     .Left = Application.UsableWidth * LeftVal
     .Height = Application.UsableHeight * 0.65
     .Width = Application.UsableWidth * 0.45
    End With

    This is in the middle of a Loop.  So, TopVal and LeftVal changes so that I can Cascade 10 open Windows to the left.

    I run a similar macro to cascade 10 windows to the right.

    In both macros, they run with no errors.  However, the position never changes...
