issues with webdeploy through Visual Studio 2013

I am trying to publish using Webdeploy and continually get this error...

Error    1    Web deployment task failed. ((2017-01-06 2:25:49 PM) An error occurred when the request was processed on the remote computer.)

An error was encountered when processing operation 'Create Directory' on 'httpdocs'.

I/O error occurred.      

>>> most of what I have read online suggests that this is a permissions issue - however, I have set the user permissions to "full control"  and still receive this  - I have no issues connecting

Hi Tim,

Could you provide more detail? You may need to check the event viewer and post the error message here.
