Reportviewer - export to excel not adjusting row height on tables RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a report where I am exporting data from a database to both PDF and Excel.

In this report there is a table.

The data for each row of the table is populated from the database and data in cells can sometimes be more than 1 line in height.

When exporting to PDF cells that are more than 1 line in height render correctly over the correct number of lines, however when exporting to excel they do not and all i get is a single line been displayed on the report.  Is there any way I can get the export to excel to set the line height for each row in the table correctly?

  • I am getting the same results, but only for the last two of 5 tables that I am rendering. The first 3 render as expected.

  • I have abandoned Microsoft Report Viewer for Excel output. It is not dependable enough.
