Do you want help about Live Tiles ? If yes, please try the samples here: http://code.msdn.microsoft.com/site/search?query=live%20tile&f%5B2%5D.Value=live%20tile&f%5B2%5D.Type=SearchText&f%5B0%5D.Value=Windows%20RT&f%5B0%5D.Type=Platform&f%5B0%5D.Text=Windows%20Store%20apps&f%5B1%5D.Value=11.0&f%5B1%5D.Type=VisualStudioVersion&f%5B1%5D.Text=Visual%20Studio%202012&ac=4
Else provide more details on what you're trying to do.

if want to send messages from the server to the app have look at push notifications or signal r. Signal R gives a more real time connection but only works when the application is activated

Live updates to the app? Please explain further, this question does not have enough information or context.

NOTE: If I ask for code, please provide something that I can drop directly into a project and run (including XAML), or an actual application project. I'm trying to help a lot of people, so I don't have time to figure out weird snippets with undefined objects and unknown namespaces.Thursday, August 8, 2013 6:17 PMModerator -
