  • Hi Karthikeya,

    I had sort of resolve the error of my first thread by deploying the program in my pocket pc 2003 second edition for testing. But i had encountered another new error when i tried to pull data from SQL Server 2000 which is running on the same machine as IIS 5.1:

    Error Code: 80040E21

    Error Message: "SQL server CE encountered problems in opening SQL Server CE database [,,,database name,,]

    Minor error: 28559 Source: Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Windows CE Edition.

    Currently, my environment is

    Windows XP

    Visual Studio 2005(Pro edition)

    Microsoft SQL Server 2000

    Microsoft SQL Server CE 2.0

    I had also changed my coding:

    Try

    rda = New SqlCeRemoteDataAccess

    rda.InternetUrl = "http://192.168.1.100/ssce/sscesa20.dll"

    rda.LocalConnectionString = _

    "Provider=SQLOLEDB;" & _

    "Data Source=\My Documents\test.sdf"

    rda.Pull("testTable", "SELECT * FROM testTable", rdaOleDbConnectString, RdaTrackOption.TrackingOnWithIndexes, "ErrorTable")

    Catch ex As SqlCeException

    ShowErrors(ex)

    Finally

    rda.Dispose()

    End Try

    And i noticed that in my event view (under application), there are error and warning recorded

    ERROR
