    Views are virtual tables that are compiled at run time . In Sql Server we have two types of views : System Defined Views and User Defined Views .User Defined Views are defined by users. There are two types of user defined views :Simple View and Complex View .Please refer to below article for more details with demo :

    i was expecting of hearing like materialised view, index view etc. nothing such exist in sql server ?
