The SQL Server Developer Tools Code-Named "Juneau" is a new SQL Server database project tool that is the next iteration of the database project types from Visual Studio 2010. You might want to have a look at that forum, the first announcement in the forum points to where you can download the CTP3 version of the tool.

Yes, I know of the Juneau toolset, but I was wondering if it were at all possible to leverage the existing Visual Studio 2010 dbproj to use a SQL Denali server. Basically, I want to deploy a database project I created with SQL2008 against a Denali server.
If I point an existing 2008 dbproj at a Denali server I receive this error when deploying:
Error Deploy01234: The target database schema provider could not be determined. Deployment cannot continue.
Seems that Visual Studio needs an updated schema provider for Denali (11.0.1440).

I asked and was told that we have not made a public statement about VS 2010 DB project support for Denali. The best forums to monitor for that are the Juneau forum and the VS DB Dev Tools forum: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vstsdb/threads.
