Opera Support

I would love to take part in the Silverlight phenomenon, and try out the Bing game, but you don't support Opera. Planning on supporting it when?Tuesday, July 28, 2009 6:57 AM

Joe Stegman has a good short article on SL support for Opera.

The issues are textbox focus, AJAX, Windowless. If you can do without any of these "killers", your application will work fine on Opera. Not sure SL can be installed from Opera though, but if you install SL on other browsers, and it'll work fine on Opera sans the killers.

Opera is not supported but it will work. You just have to install it from a supported browser on your computer.

On a side note: Microsoft doesn't list Google Chrome on the supported browser list. It runs it just like Opera so I wonder if they will add it soon? Any idea's Ken?Wednesday, July 29, 2009 9:09 AM

I am not sure why Microsoft does not officially support those browsers.
