identify style used on a control RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am using VS 2013 and am attempting to hack an existing project made by a third party however I am running into a problem with the styles of some controls.  Most styles I can trace back (using go to definition) but there are some which must inherit that I can not see where they are set.  NB I have access to the code but its a massive project.

Is there any tool which will identify for me the font type, size etc used in a control.  I have been looking in Blend but nothing seems to be there to do that.

  • We're not going to assist you with reverse engineering a third-party project.

NOTE: If I ask for code, please provide something that I can drop directly into a project and run (including XAML), or an actual application project. I'm trying to help a lot of people, so I don't have time to figure out weird snippets with undefined objects and unknown namespaces.
