  • Hi Az sunnyboy,

    Welcome to the MSDN forum.

.NET Framework 2.0 SP2 and .NET Framework 3.0 SP2 is the extension of .NET Framework 2.0. If you already have .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 and .NET Framework 3.0 SP2, it means you already have .NET Framework 2.0. Thus, you are not required to install it again.

If you have any other problems, please feel free to let me know.

    Best Regards,

  • Before you do anything, please tell us your Windows version!

How you proceed is VERY different depending on if your have a Windows version where .NET Framework 2.0 is built in as part of the OS. Windows Vista and Windows 7 have .NET Framework 2.0 built in, and you cannot remove or install it.

Please post back with your Windows version for specific instructions.
