if i have more then one instance of the control?

i have a autosuggest control works great if i have only one instance and i have two instance of the same control in one page then its act weired

say: i have instance1 and instance2 and if i start typing on instance1 control then it populates the data in instance2 control

what do i need to change in my control to avoid this kinda of behaviour?

any suggestions?

my code is pretty long but what is the reason for having this problem? i mean i just need to get an idea what makes the two instance does not work

 each control such as textbox has to have a unique id. You can't have 2 controls on the same page with the same name. Basic Asp.net rule.
