I tried to serialize an observable collection into xml file for metro app but was not able to do ?i tried with file creation sample app but serializer method start throwing exceptions? Can you please help ?

Hi Anuj,

Have you tried JSON? Are you using this namespace: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/hh454055(v=vs.110).aspx ?
