'Property Bag' for Interop properties RRS feed

  • Question

  • How does interop persist properties? I don't see anything for persisting properties. In VB6 user controls, you have to work with the PropertyBag object, I believe.
How does Vb.net maintain these properties?
    Thanks

  • The Windows Forms designer uses a completely different method.  Property values are persisted in code.  Click the Show All Files icon in Solution Explorer and open the Designer.cs file for a form to see that code.  This works for ActiveX controls too.
