First-chance exception.

    Question

  • I'm building a Universal game for Windows 8.1 and Windows Phone. But in external code seems to be before the OnVisibility event handler, I'm getting a first-chance exception at 0x774435D7 in Encrypted.WindowsPhone.exe: Microsoft C++ exception: Cn::XH at memory location 0x0178F338. I've tried binging it with no luck.

    Any help?

    Thanks.

  • What is the exception and where? Is it just a first chance exception that gets handled or does it crash the app? If it's just a first chance and gets handled locally it is probably benign and you don't need to worry about it.

  • I can't seem to trace the exception, it occurs in external code. It doesn't crash the application, the exception is only in the output window. But, the XAML is not rendered, and my DirectX is flashing seizure-inducing colors. But, there's no DirectX output.

  • The color flashing had to do with my DirectX code, but the XAML still won't render.
