Is window.applicationCache available in WebView in Metro app?

Question

I found window.applicationCache is not available if I put a website into WebView in Metro app.

Is there any way to enable that?

Hi,

I got confirmation that AppCache is not supported in WebView.

Additionally, note that HTML5 Metro style apps do support AppCache: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/xaml/hh465686.aspx
