Missing ReadyBoost tab in Win7 HomePrem 64-bit RRS feed

  • Question

  • When I plug my SanDisk 4 GB ReadyBoost certified Flash Drive
and go to Properties to select Speed Up my System the Readyboost tab is missing.
I know this drive works fine. It works without any problems on my Vista desktop. and my nephew's Windows 7 laptop.

Also when I look in services.msc there is NO Readyboost service listed. Ive Binged and cant find resolution to this.
Am using Windows Home Premium x64 with 2GB memory.

    Any suggestiions?

  • Make sure the Superfetch service is running. This service hosts the ReadyBoost driver in Windows 7.
