ftp site not open on real ip. RRS feed

    hi to all
     
     
    i have 2k3 dc (working) and 2k8 IIS 7.0 ftp server (work in process) . i want my ftp server authenticate with active directory users for write permission and anonymous for read only, locally (office) and externally (home) (real ip), i have 2 ethernet card 1 for local ip and 2 for external real ip. my problem is, when i enable external ethernet card ftp site not open time out or permission error. locally authentication succussfully but externally not responding and not open.
     have U any solution?????

    You can only bind an FTP site to a single IP.  The proper way to do this is not a second card in the server, but a router that does address translation.  You could set up a second FTP site for the external IP pointing to the same folders as the original FTP site.
