While Doing VBA Coding, Some Affected Access Forms Would Resize too Small. RRS feed

  • Question

  • While doing VBA code editing of the form, which is open in edit mode, or editing module etc., code change may affect other related forms which may on may not to be open.

Saving the code, Access would sometimes ask if I want to save other affected forms, which are not visibly open or are open in editing mode behind other objects.

Later I discover that some forms open in the size smaller than its height and width and do not fully show some of the their objects.

I guess that when Access is asking me if I want to save these form, I should perhaps choose no, verify their status on the screen, stretch them out etc.

Is there more convenient and sure way to prevent this.

    Thank you for your input.

  • Hi Milan,

When you modify the code behind a form, Access opens it in design view and then ask you to save the changes if you close it.
