Unable to connect to Visual Studio Online due to network failure RRS feed

  • Hi

    I would like to use the Application Insights Status Monitor to monitor a web application during load test. I have installed the software on the web server and connected from my Azure account and I can at least monitor CPU and memory. Now I would like to utilize the monitoring in a load test (I am using VS 2015 Enterprise). I have successfully set up the connection to my Visual Studio Online account from team explorer and everything looks ok but when I press "Get Performance Data from Application Insights" according to http://blogs.msdn.com/b/visualstudioalm/archive/2014/04/07/get-application-performance-data-during-load-runs-with-visual-studio-online.aspx I get this error message:

    

    I have tested to turn off firewall but no success. Any suggestions?

    You are facing this error because there is no application configured with your account. We are working on improving this error message.

  • Hi,
    I suggest you to check with proxy in the network. Also perform the network trace by using  the tools like fiddler web debugger .

  • I decrypted the HTTPS trafic and got a 400 response on 

    https://stefanbie.vsclt.visualstudio.com/_apis/clt/apm/Applications?type=ApplicationInsights 

    With the error message below:

    Request you to please re-check the configuration as the authentication token is getting expired. Please cross-verify the configuration with reference to following articles:

    However, if the issue persist, request you to send Network trace logs along with detailed description of the issue to "vsoloadtest@microsoft.com ", so that concerned product team can check on this issue & assist further.
