Starting with vs2015 which interfaces should be favoured, IVsProject or the ones from EnvDTE.DTE ?

Asking because I just found that add-ins are deprecated with vs2015 and wondering which of these interfaces are in danger of being deprecated as well?

Or in other words - which of these interfaces are preferred for development of VSIX projects?

According to Microsoft sources, EnvDTE is not in danger to be deprecated or removed. But IVsProject is more powerful and not all projects support the automation model EnvDTE so it is better.
