Adding new fields to UserRegistration RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a desktop client application that I would like to add new fields to the create a new user field. So as of right now I go to admin > User > add a new user. I want to be able to add a field to put a 'Division' section in there. So you would place, user name, full name, division, password. Reason being is because I want to be able to pull up permissions or pull queries based on divisions. Example Division 1 can't see Divisions 2's tasks in the Task table.

    Is this possible?

  • Hi William Hodges,

Do you mean you want to add new fields to the default user table?

Please open SQL Server Object Explorer -> SQL Server -> localdb -> the database of your project. Then right-click the table and select "View Designer" to add the field you want. After you update the database and refresh it, the new field will be added.

If misunderstanding, please feel free to let me know.

    Best Regards,
    Weiwei
