Populate Domain With Excel Sheet


  • I was wondering if someone could provide an example of how an Excel sheet needs to be formatted in order to be imported into DQS as a domain?

    I've tried it, but not getting the results I'd expect. The first column of the sheet contains the value that that should be replaced in the table. The second column is the value that needs to be replaced. So for example, if I'm running a table through DQS and it encounters the value "a", it should replace it with a "1".

    So the results are partially right. The translation between alpha character into a code (number) is right. but why is it importing all values present in the sheet into the value column, as opposed to just importing the 20 values in the Value column?
